I am passionate about seeing young people empowered to know who they are and make their own choices to become grounded adults. Teenage years can be a difficult time to navigate, for parents and young people alike, and sometimes some short term support can make all the difference. As an occupational therapist I use creativity and practical strategies alongside plenty of listening and a solution focused approach to support my clients.

I especially work with neurodiverse young people to help them understand how their brains work and how to play to their strengths. We work together to find coping strategies for the things that are more difficult. I also work with young people who experience anxiety, low mood or who struggle with their friendships or big life changes.

Group work is in integral part of what I do and I deliver courses and workshops in schools to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. My aim is to demystify all things related to mental health and give young people the tools and words they need to speak up. I also run workshops for adults to teach them tools to support their own wellbeing.

When I am not working I love spending time with my family or working in the garden. I have a crazy Staffie who loves nothing better than running after her ball in the garden. I love being outdoors or exploring new places, apart from when it’s raining. Then you’ll find me in a cosy corner with a good book.
