NEWS: We are determined to help people get the support they need…quickly

by | Dec 20, 2021

Wellbeing Therapy Solutions’ experienced and expanded team are driven to support those people who have struggled to get the help they need during the Covid-19 pandemic.

MD Kate Jackson has not only moved the business to beautifully designed new premises for 2022, she has also welcomed four new occupational therapists to her growing set-up.

All new members of the dedicated group specialise in different areas of therapy and means there are now six occupational therapists available for appointments with Wellbeing Therapy Solutions.

Kate says her reasons for expanding have been developed due to the incredible increase in demand for her services in 2021 and a willingness to try and reach those people who have not been able to access services through the NHS, as quickly as they may have hoped to.

Mental Health NHS services

“The demands placed on mental health services in the NHS, such as CAMHS, during the coronavirus outbreak in the UK have been well reported and unprecedented. They have put a huge strain on the NHS’s dedicated therapists and staff members,” said Kate.

“Unfortunately, despite their sterling efforts, there just isn’t enough support to make sure that those in need are seen as quickly as may have previously been the case.

“I know that everyone in the NHS will be working as hard as they can to help as many people as possible during this difficult period.

“But I also know that the numbers of adults and young people requiring support for a myriad of mental health challenges has increased dramatically so Wellbeing Therapy Solutions are now better equipped to deal with the amount of enquiries we have had.

Wide variety of therapies

“Myself and our therapists: Marjolein, Beth, Rebecca, Lindsey and Clare all bring their own experience to the group and specialism in a wide variety of therapies.

“We feel that this gives Wellbeing Therapy Solutions the ability to reach more people that may be struggling in the New Year. Through a limited amount of sessions with us, we hope to get them looking forward and helping them develop practical plans to put themselves in a better place.”

Wellbeing Therapy Solutions’ new, modern premises on Braunstone Lane, near Leicester (shared with the Bodie Hodges Foundation) are warm, inviting and have a calm waiting room for parents, family or friends if they would like to accompany and support any visitors.

Bookings are now being taken for one-to-one sessions and are invited to be directed to kate@wellbeingtherapysolutions.co.uk who will put clients in touch with the therapist who can offer them specific support based on their background work and areas of expertise.
